Senior Home Care Home Health Aides are available to help clients who are disabled, chronically ill, or cognitively impaired as well as individuals who may need assistance with activities of daily living, thereby maintaining their independence and retaining the ability to live in their own homes or in residential facilities instead of in health care facilities or institutions.
Home Health Aides follow a patient specific Plan of Care prepared by one of the Senior Home Care registered Nurses. They can remind the client to make medications, assist with exercise programs, and work together with the Senior Home care Nursing Staff to prevent the buildup of wounds and bed sores.
This Plan of Care can include light housekeeping and homemaking tasks such as; laundry, changing bed linens, shopping for food, planning and preparing meals. Aides may also help clients get out of bed, bathe, dress, and groom. Should the need arise, they can also accompany clients to doctors' appointments or on other errands.
Our levels of care, hours of service and companionship are specifically developed for each patient.
